In this role, you will lead a team of skilled technicians through the installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), systems in residential settings. Your expertise in mechanical systems, schematics, and HVAC design will drive efficiency and excellence on every job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while applying your technical knowledge to deliver reliable comfort solutions for homeowners. As a vital part of our team, you will promote safety, uphold company standards, and foster a collaborative work environment. Duties Lead and coordinate residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols. Supervise and mentor installation technicians, providing guidance on technical tasks such as schematics interpretation, HVAC design implementation, plumbing connections, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration systems. Conduct pre-installation planning by reviewing blueprints, schematics, and building specifications to determine the best approach for each project. Ensure all work complies with local codes, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines; perform quality control inspections throughout the installation process. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving HVAC systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing connections, or equipment repair to resolve problems efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and safety checklists. Promote a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA standards and utilizing proper safety equipment during all installations. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation in residential settings. Service technician experience with proficiency in schematics interpretation, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration technology, and building automation systems. Strong mechanical knowledge including mechanical systems repair and maintenance of air conditioning units, and other mechanical equipment. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as HVAC licenses are highly desirable. Experience with electrical troubleshooting using tools . Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with HVAC. field service procedures is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating various equipment including lifts and trucks is required.
