Job Description

Local manufacturing company in Valdosta, GA is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and process cooling systems to support 24/7 manufacturing operations and ensure precise environmental controls for production areas. Tuesday - Saturday 8a-4:30p + OT + weekly Saturday pay
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair:
Execute PMs and emergency repairs on industrial RTUs, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handlers, and exhaust systems.
Process Controls:
Monitor and calibrate temperature, humidity, and airflow in critical production zones and cleanrooms using BAS/DDC systems.
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics:
Troubleshoot 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), compressors, motors, pumps, and pneumatic controls.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce LOTO, OSHA, and EPA refrigerant management standards. Document all work in the CMMS.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of HVAC/R experience in a commercial or industrial/manufacturing setting.
Certifications:
EPA Universal Certification required (HVAC Journeyman license preferred).
Technical:
Strong skill in reading electrical schematics, operating BAS/DDC controls, and handling heavy mechanical hardware.
Physical:
Able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights/rooftops, and handle on-call rotations as needed. #jdp
