Junior HVACR Technician Siemens - 4.0 Waikīkī, HI Job Details Full-time $65,790 - $85,000 a year 8 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Phone communication Interpreting technical drawings High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Siemens is seeking a qualified candidate for a permanent position to provide preventative maintenance on HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) work in support of a long term and progressive government customer in Honolulu Hawaii. We are seeking a team-oriented individual possessing training and experience in providing service to various types of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and system and to performs maintenance, minor repairs and calibration on heating and air conditioning control devices. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field under general supervision and will be responsible for completing work in a timely fashion. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient, respectful and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform manufactures preventative maintenance service on the follow equipment: AHU's, FCU's, split and mini split units, supply and exhaust fans, ice machines, VAV's, walk-in refrigeration and freezers, condensers pumps, valves, motors, cooling towers, air compressors, and all auxiliary equipment. Recycle and charge refrigerants as required. Inspect and test refrigeration systems, safety devices, and control for efficiency of operation and compliance with safety practice and regulations. Cleans coils and other parts, oils fans, changes filter, adjusts air flow and replaces gas or fluid in system. Replace filters, belts and other parts as needed. Repair and adjust pneumatic controls lines and fittings, lubricate and oil equipment according to manufactures specification and industry standards. Troubleshoots Observes operation sequence of refrigeration system and makes necessary adjustments to control level of fluid, pressure, or temperature. Determines parts and equipment needed for maintenance and repair work. Read and interpret schematics, shop drawing and technical manuals. Maintains record of inspections and work perform. Makes adjustments to building HVAC systems using a computerized Building Automation System (BAS) Perform root cause analysis and strive for continuous improvement, making recommendations to customer May be required to assist in facility emergencies 1 to 2 days of shift work monthly
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Interpersonal skills; telephone skills; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organization skills; accuracy; time management.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school is highly preferred Experience and training in the basics of either in technical school or certifications received during training classes from industry vendors is preferred Working knowledge of boiler and Chiller systems a plus Soldering skills a plus. HVAC Certified
OSHA 10/OSHA 30
certification Fall Protection certification Confined space certification Ability to use and understand numerous types of electrical testing equipment Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines Experience working in a hospitality setting

Candidate must be US citizen and have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a US federal agency security clearance. $65,790.00 $85,000.00
