Responsible for the service and repair of all H VAC, air compressors and air dryers at the Karl Auto Group. While complying with fire codes, health, environmental and safety requirements and OSHA and other government regulations.Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair all H VAC equipment and air compressor equipment Changing air filters, cleaning condenser fins, check belts, perform routine maintenance on equipment Ensure heating and cooling in all areas are working at optimal efficiency Aid in snow removal and other duties as assigned; as needed Effectively manage repair expenses of H VAC systems.The Ideal Candidate Should:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial/ residential H VAC service tech. Have EPA 608 refrigerant certification and have the ability to service: make up air unites, roof top units, split systems, mini- split systems, VFR systems, Reznor heaters and infrared tube heaters. Knowledge of local regulations and building codes including OSHA. Knowledge of construction activities, radiation safety, environmental health, biohazard safety programs and fire safety practices and procedures. Be highly motivated and goal-oriented. Possess strong time management skills. Have a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service. Have a positive attitude with the desire to grow personally and professionally. Team oriented. Possess the ability to use technology applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities. Have a clean and valid driver's license.
