EPA Certification Full Job Description Position Summary:

Unilux has been designing and manufacturing HVAC solutions for high-rise residential properties for over 50 years. Our products have been installed in nearly one million condominium, apartment, hotel, and seniors' homes across North America. Unilux Suite Solutions is our Chicago-based division focused on replacing aging fan coil and heat pump equipment in the thousands of condominiums over 20 years old throughout the City. We are looking for a full-time heat pump technician . This position reports to the Operations Manager. Compensation and benefits : $30-$35 per hour based on experience SEIU Local 1 health, dental, and vision benefits plan; effective after 30-day probationary period Two weeks annual paid vacation, additional week vacation after two years Company cell phone Unilux pays for all Local 1 classes the technician attends in pursuit of their licenses.

Responsibilities include:

Installation, servicing, and preventative maintenance of water-source heat pump HVAC equipment in residential suites: condominiums, rental apartments, hotels, and senior living centers Prepare equipment and tools at warehouse for installation Remove existing HVAC equipment and prepare area for unit installatoin Follow installation schedule as set by Operations Manager Complete maintenance and repair service calls Assist with other tasks as directed by the

Operations Manager Requirements:

5+years experience with Water Source Heat Pumps Related certifications EPA Certification Excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be working in people's homes Basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting skills Must be eager to learn and self-motivated to work independently while being a member of larger team Driver's license, personal vehicle, and clean driving record are madatory. Hours and Location :

Daily materials preparation is at our office in Chicago (Jefferson Park). Job sites are across the Chicagoland area. Minimal out of state travel is possible, with additional compensation included.
