Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-tier heating, ventilation and air conditioning to the Quincy area. We are a family owned and operated business that have been providing quality service in the Quincy, IL area since 1986. We work on all makes and models and primarily work on residential units and some light commercial units.
  • Applicants must have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques and have proficiency in piping and electrical work related to HVAC systems
  • Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make the necessary repairs
  • Have familiarity with building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools ,and testing equipment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from customers in a respectful professional manner
  • Must keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
  • Other job related duties as requested by employer
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or quivalent
  • 3 years of proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance and furnace and air conditioning installation
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass drug & criminal background checks
  • Prefer applicant to live in the Quincy area or be willing to move to Quincy area
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently but also able to be a part of a team

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment, safely climb and work from ladders and work in various weather conditions.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
