Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) seeks a Union Mobile HVAC Technician to service and maintain HVAC systems across a portfolio of commercial properties. In this field-based role, you'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, refrigeration, and control systems, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. You'll travel between client sites, document work in CMMS, support energy-efficient operations, and uphold JLL's performance-driven, client-focused culture while collaborating with building engineers and facility managers. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across multiple client sites Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, controls, and components to ensure reliable, efficient operation Travel between assigned properties as a mobile technician, prioritizing work orders and emergency calls Monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS) and energy management controls Document all work performed, parts used, and time in a CMMS or work order system in a timely manner Adhere to union work rules, JLL safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable codes and standards Collaborate with building engineers, facility managers, and vendors to resolve complex mechanical issues Support energy efficiency, sustainability, and uptime goals for client facilities Communicate effectively with clients and occupants, providing professional updates on work status and system conditions Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies as required Required Skills Commercial HVAC maintenance HVAC troubleshooting and repair Building automation systems (BAS) Chiller and boiler operations Refrigeration systems Electrical and mechanical diagnostics Preventive maintenance planning Safety and compliance procedures Technical documentation and reporting Customer service and client communication
