HVAC Helper

Climate Champions is hiring an HVAC Helper to support our technicians on residential and commercial jobs around the Wheaton area. This is a hands-on way to break into the HVAC trade. You will learn directly from experienced techs while helping with installs, service calls, and maintenance. One to two years of experience is a plus but not required. If you are reliable, eager to learn, and ready to work, we want to hear from you.

What you will do:

Assist lead technicians on installs, repairs, and maintenance Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials Help move and set up units, ductwork, and supplies on the job site Keep work areas clean and safe Learn HVAC systems, tools, and procedures on the job Communicate clearly with techs and customers What we are looking for: Must live within 25 minutes of Wheaton, Illinois 1 to 2 years of HVAC experience preferred but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Dependable and punctual Team player with a good attitude Good to know: On-call rotation may be required Why work with us: Learn a skilled trade with real growth potential We are growing, and we want someone who will grow with us.
