Certification Full Job Description Tandem Heating & Air is building a premium HVAC company in Carmel, IN We run a focused service model: Calls, done the right way, with time to diagnose properly and communicate clearly with the homeowner. This is not a corporate environment. This is not built on discounts or pressure. We focus on clean execution, clear communication, and doing things the right way every time. This role is not for most technicians If you are used to rushing calls, relying on discounts, or being told exactly what to do every step of the way, this will not be a fit. If you take pride in your work, think independently, and want to operate at a higher level, keep reading. What the role actually looks like 3-5 service calls per day (not 8-10 rushed calls) Full system diagnostics, not surface-level fixes Clear explanation to the homeowner Present 3-4 professional options Customer chooses — no pressure selling You are trusted to run your calls the right way. How we operate Flat-rate pricing only No discounting No "sales scripts" or gimmicks High standards for communication and professionalism Every call is an opportunity to build long-term trust What we are looking for Strong diagnostic ability across residential HVAC Can communicate clearly with homeowners (this matters as much as technical skill) Holds themselves to a high standard without needing to be pushed Wants to grow into a leadership role over time Compensation Target earnings: $32.00 - $45.00+ Where this can go: This is an early role in a company being built for long-term growth. The right person will have the opportunity to step into a leadership role as we expand.
