Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with a focus on both installation and maintenance. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various HVAC equipment. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' systems operate efficiently and effectively. Pay range is based on experience Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installations and repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and electrical wiring. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when necessary. Weld or perform other equipment repair tasks as needed for system integrity. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed. Adhere to safety protocols during all service operations, including handling ammonia refrigeration or other hazardous materials when applicable. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to support overall building operations. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role within construction or property maintenance environments. Proficient mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems. MUST be EPA Certified Valid Driver's License is required Experience as a service technician in the HVAC field. Strong understanding of air conditioning principles and ammonia refrigeration processes. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in equipment repair with a focus on refrigerate systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
Pay:
$21.00 - $28.30 per hour
