We are a self-performing service provider covering all or parts of 15 states-Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Heavy/Light Commercial/Industrial Controls/HVAC Service Technician Job Summary:
-- We are looking for a self-led, energetic professional. Alpha Energy Solutions currently has an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your technical skills in a key role as an HVAC Controls Technician in Evansville, IN. As a Controls Technician you would be responsible for installation of Building Automation Systems, Capability of programming various types of boilers, heating, cooling systems and equipment controls. Interprets and updates mechanical plans and prints as necessary. Provides responsive customer support with emphasis on customer satisfaction. The Ability to work independently under the guidance and direction of the Lead HVAC Controls Technician. Completes all work orders assigned within specified time frames.
Responsibilities:
-- Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects. Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements. Keeps Controls Manager, Project Manager as well as customer informed of job progress and issues. Coordinates with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment. Perform system backups, install appropriate updates and patches Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation. Promote, build and maintain good customer relationships. Communicates with the Customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training, demonstrates a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
Qualifications:
-- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent and typically at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical School or formal training is preferred. Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems. Basic mathematical abilities in all units of measure. Read blue prints and technical schematics as well as specification manuals. Attention to detail. Good communication and listening skills. Valid driver's license We are looking for leaders that want a future not a job.
