Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer Technician

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician, where you'll play a vital role in delivering comfort and efficiency to residential and commercial clients. Duties Install, assemble, and test HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in accordance with schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system inspections to verify proper operation using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems to identify issues related to mechanical components, plumbing connections, or electrical wiring. Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, or other mechanical components to ensure system efficiency. Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints for accurate installation and service procedures. Use welding techniques when necessary for ductwork or component repairs; operate equipment safely during all field service activities. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each service call or installation project. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately; understanding of plumbing systems is a plus. Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems and general building comfort solutions. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting electrical issues effectively. Experience with welding techniques for ductwork or component repairs; familiarity with boiler operation is advantageous. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred. Mechanical experience in field service environments; ability to work independently while following safety protocols. $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
