Company Truck Description:
Read This Before You Apply Somewhere Else Every HVAC ad in Lexington says the same three things. Family owned. Great team. You won't be just a number. Then you show up and you're truck 14. Dispatch buries you in the worst calls in the county. The "bonus structure" turns out to be a story somebody told you in the interview. And the owner has never once said your name. So we're not going to tell you we're different. We're going to tell you exactly what the job is, exactly what it pays, and exactly who we want. Then you decide. Fair enough? The Job You're running residential service and repair calls in and around Lexington. Diagnose it. Fix it. Explain it to the homeowner in plain English so they actually understand what you found. Do installs and changeouts when we need them. Document the work. Keep your truck clean and your tools where you can find them. That's the whole job. No sales scripts you'd be embarrassed to read out loud. No pressure to condemn a unit that has five good years in it. If you tell a customer their system is fine, we back you. The Money $25 to $32 an hour, based on what you can actually do. Not on how long you've been alive. Plus performance and production bonuses. The better and faster you work, the more you make.Plus:
Health insurance Retirement plan Paid vacation Company truck Company uniforms Monday through Friday Yes, Monday through Friday. Real weekends. There's occasional overtime when a customer is sitting in a hot house and needs help, and we expect you to be reasonable about that. We'll be reasonable back. Here's the 50 Year Thing The King's Helper has been in business for fifty years. That's not a bragging point. It's a job security point. Fifty years means we're not one bad quarter away from cutting routes. It means the phone rings because three generations of Lexington families already know who to call. It means when you tell your wife you took this job, she can stop worrying about whether the company will still be here at Christmas. Stability is boring. It's also the whole point. Who We Want At least 2 years in HVAC, at journeyman level Real diagnostic ability, not parts-cannon guessing Valid driver's license and a driving record we can insure Current HVAC certifications and licenses Your own hand tools The ability to talk to a homeowner without talking down to them Willing to pass a background check and drug screen Who We Don't Want We'll save you the drive. Don't apply if you need someone standing behind you telling you what to do next. Don't apply if you're the guy who leaves the crawlspace door open and the drop cloth in the hallway. Don't apply if "I'm just here for the paycheck" describes you accurately. Nothing wrong with that. It's just not this job. And don't apply if you can't look a customer in the eye and tell them the truth when the truth costs us the ticket. That one is not negotiable. What Happens Next Hit apply. It takes about two minutes. If it looks like a fit, we'll call you and have a real conversation about the work, the money, and what you're looking for. No games. No three-week silence. If you're a good tech who's tired of being treated like a number by a company that keeps telling you you're not one, come talk to us. . The trucks are waiting.https:
