Job Type:
Full-time Southern Choice Properties LLC is hiring a licensed HVAC Technician to service and maintain HVAC systems across our mobile home communities. This position requires someone dependable, experienced, and able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience, including experience with mini-split systems. Experience working on mobile homes is a plus. Bilingual applicants are preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems Work on mini-split units and related systems Respond to resident maintenance requests Perform preventative maintenance as needed Troubleshoot heating and cooling issues Communicate clearly with property managers and residents Keep accurate notes on work completed Handle occasional on-call or after-hours service needs Travel between assigned properties as needed
Requirements:
Must be a licensed HVAC technician Must have experience with mini-split systems Must have your own truck Must have your own tools Must be able to work independently Must be dependable and responsive Must be willing to work varying hours as needed Some on-call work is expected Experience with mobile homes is a plus Bilingual is preferred
Important:
Having your own truck and tools is non-negotiable for this position.
Pay:
Starting pay is $60,000 per year, depending on experience, licensing, reliability, and ability to work independently.
Schedule:
Hours may vary depending on property needs, maintenance requests, emergencies, and weather-related HVAC demand. Some on-call availability will be required.
