Job Description
Join the 1st Lake Properties Maintenance Team! 1st Lake Properties is seeking an experienced HVAC Specialist to join our skilled maintenance team. This position is part of a team of HVAC technicians who provide service throughout our portfolio of apartment communities. If you have extensive HVAC experience, enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team, and don't mind local travel throughout the east Jefferson parish area, we'd like to hear from you. As an HVAC Specialist, you will travel between our apartment communities responding to air conditioning service calls and assisting with general maintenance needs at some of our smaller properties. This is a field-based position requiring excellent troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and a commitment to outstanding resident service. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems. Respond promptly to air conditioning service requests. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Assist with general apartment maintenance and repairs as needed at smaller communities. Complete work orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with residents. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Extensive hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience is required. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. EPA Certification to work with freon (we can help with your certification if needed). Experience in apartment maintenance or residential property management is a plus. Must possess maintenance tools and a valid driver's license (we can assist with tools purchase if needed). Ability to travel locally between apartment communities throughout the workday. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
