Job Description

Overview Confidential is hiring a career-focused Residential HVAC/R Field Service Technician with at least 5 years of experience. This is a full-time, field-based opportunity for someone local to Monroe who knows the upstate New York market; New York City residents are not a fit. The position offers a clear growth path, overtime, a company vehicle, strong benefits, and substantial commission potential. Compensation
  • $30•45 per hour, with earnings up to approximately $94,000 annually before commission.
  • Overtime available.
  • 20% commission on qualifying upsells and home-maintenance programs sold.
  • 6% commission on new equipment or systems sold directly by the technician.
  • 2% commission share on referred system-install opportunities sold by the sales team. Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, test, service, and repair residential HVAC/R equipment.
  • Install new systems, connect refrigerant lines, and fabricate ductwork as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to improve efficiency and equipment life.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults involving motors, fans, controls, compressors, coils, and ductwork.
  • Work with Mitsubishi heat pumps, hydronic boilers and controls, rooftop and packaged AC units, splits, and water-source heat pumps.
  • Handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Program smart thermostats and controls and monitor system performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company vehicle.
  • Complete estimates and email them to customers within 24 hours.
  • Use ServiceTitan for field-service documentation.
  • Participate in company training and identify additional business opportunities. Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
  • EPA Universal certification required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer-service skills.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Steam-system experience is a significant plus. Benefits
