In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems, hot & cold equipment ensuring optimal performance and safety . Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive success in diverse property settings, from commercial buildings to industrial facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills while contributing to property maintenance excellence. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system installations and repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, hot/cold restaurant equipment) equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity. Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; carry out necessary repairs or component replacements. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems and refrigeration setups when required. Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs performed, and parts used for each job. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all service activities. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields; construction background is a plus. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration technology—including refrigeration—and mechanical principles on hot/cold restaurant equipment. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with plumbing and appliance repair is advantageous. Field service experience with property maintenance or equipment repair across various settings. Mechanical knowledge complemented by welding skills; experience with boilers and other heating equipment is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle if applicable. Certification or training in HVAC/R systems; familiarity with electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
