Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal comfort and efficiency in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help deliver reliable climate control solutions while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Perform electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs on HVAC equipment using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other specialized instruments. Troubleshoot complex system problems related to electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, plumbing connections, and mechanical components. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Assist with HVAC system design modifications and upgrades based on client needs or new technological advancements. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs or system improvements. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems with a strong background in construction or property maintenance. Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance across various types of mechanical systems. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, building automation systems (BAS), and HVAC design principles. Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC equipment and refrigeration processes. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters accurately. Prior experience working with boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration appliances, and mechanical systems repair is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills combined with a safety-conscious approach; EPA certification is required for handling refrigerants.
