This energetic position requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal indoor climate control by expertly handling HVAC equipment, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. You will work closely with clients and team members to deliver top-tier service, troubleshoot complex systems, and uphold safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled technicians eager to advance their careers in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation fans, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and design specifications. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to ensure peak performance. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately assemble and troubleshoot equipment. Conduct field service visits for troubleshooting issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical components. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical faults and perform equipment repair or replacement as needed. Weld or use other mechanical skills to modify or repair HVAC components; operate equipment such as welding tools safely. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs for accountability and future reference. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Operate a driver vehicle responsibly for transportation between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws. Support ammonia refrigeration projects involving specialized refrigeration systems using ammonia as the refrigerant. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or field service roles with a focus on HVAC installation or repair. Service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, or appliance repair is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge including plumbing, boiler operation, welding skills, and equipment repair techniques. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems; experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Hands-on experience with mechanical components like pumps, valves, ductwork installation, and welding processes.
