Job Description
ROK-ENG-MAINT HVAC-FT U
SUMMARYResponsible for minor maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities throughout the property.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Designs, tests and maintains heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems.2. Troubleshoots/evaluates the system to increase maximum performance.3. Performs scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, including renovation projects on all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related equipment.4. Monitors public space temperatures, making appropriate adjustments when necessary and start/stop fans as required.5. Monitors own workload and advises supervisor of work overload.6. Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the engineering shop.7. Prepares daily work forms.8. Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations and controls.9. Ads to safety policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.10. All other duties as assigned.REPORTING
LINEYou will report directly to the Resort Facilities Manager and then the Director of Facilities.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
- The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
- The ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- The availability to work all shifts.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
- The ability to verify the right to work in the United States.
