About the Role As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing climate control systems to ensure home comfort and safety. You will play a key role in maintaining system efficiency and delivering high-quality service solutions that directly impact our customers' daily living environments. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on air handling units, ductwork, and drainage systems to maximize equipment longevity. Execute precise diagnostic procedures on residential heating and cooling units to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for homeowners to improve their system's reliability. Execute system upgrades and component adjustments to ensure compliance with modern energy efficiency standards. Maintain accurate service logs and documentation to track equipment health and historical maintenance data. Collaborate with the broader field team to address emergency service calls and maintain high service standards. Qualifications Required Skills 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and repair. Current EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Demonstrated proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs and navigating confined spaces like attics or crawlspaces. Preferred Skills Strong commitment to professional customer communication and service excellence. Proven ability to adapt to changing technical challenges in a fast-paced field environment. Experience with modern smart thermostat integration and advanced system diagnostics.
