Requirements:

Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities, including service requests, work orders, and preventative maintenance Manage vendors and contractors, including inventory control and ordering supplies Ensure timely and high-quality apartment turnovers and unit readiness Perform and supervise repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance Conduct regular inspections of units, buildings, and mechanical systems Maintain compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and local building codes Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records using property management software (Yardi preferred) Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance as required

Responsibilities:

Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance experience, including prior leadership or supervisory experience Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and carpentry Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proficient with computers; experience with Yardi is a plus Must possess basic maintenance tools and have reliable transportation Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Maintain a professional demeanor and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
