Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal System Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an HVAC Technician to support our Prime program at Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD for the Naval Research Lab. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and service of HVAC systems Diagnose, repair, or replace HVAC equipment as needed Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and related mechanical systems Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical and HVAC-related matters Support planning, procurement, and administrative tasks for facility projects Perform commercial HVAC testing and balancing Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) Conduct hydronic and sound testing Perform ductwork and sheet metal installation and repairs Maintain working knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment Collaborate with and assist other skilled trades as required Required Qualifications 5-7 years of experience as an HVAC technician 3-5 years of experience working in government or secured facilities Journeyman HVAC license (required) EPA CFC certification (required) Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Security Clearance Active SECRET clearance (or higher) required.
