Job Description
Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician Lead by Example. Build the Next Generation . We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving complex HVAC challenges, and wants to play a key role in mentoring and developing the next generation of technicians. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of commercial HVAC service experience , possess all required licenses and certifications, and demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction. In addition to performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, this individual will serve as a leader in the field and help set the standard for excellence throughout our service department. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial HVAC systems. Service rooftop units, split systems, VRF systems, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and associated controls. Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and internal team members. Complete service documentation accurately and professionally. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Mentor and support apprentice and junior technicians by sharing technical knowledge and best practices. Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience. Possess all required state licenses and certifications. EPA Universal Certification required. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Working knowledge of commercial HVAC controls and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
