Residential/Light commercial HVAC Service Technician This is an exciting time to join our growing home service team! We would love to ADD an experienced Service Technician to our team. Basic Responsibilities:

Heating & Cooling System Inspection:

Assess the effectiveness and safety of clients' current Heating & Cooling systems through thorough inspections. Identify any defects or issues and provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance routines.

Repair:

Perform Heating & Cooling maintenance tasks and repairs in accordance with client requirements and industry standards. This includes ventilation, air conditioning systems, heating systems, and associated equipment.

Diagnostic Expertise:

Utilize your technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical and mechanical defects in Heating & Cooling systems accurately. Address issues promptly and effectively to ensure optimal system performance.

Cleaning and Adjustment:

Clean, adjust, and optimize Heating & Cooling systems to improve efficiency and functionality. Carry out necessary warranty services as required.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Follow service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.

Technical Training:

Actively participate in technical training sessions to enhance your knowledge and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.

Schedule Flexibility:

we are open Monday-Friday and currently have a Weather-Dependent on call system.

Skills and Qualifications:

Team Player:

Possess a collaborative mindset and thrive in a fast-paced organization. Valid driver's license. Completion of a vocational, training, or apprenticeship program in HVAC Current HVAC technician license or certification Strong understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. Working knowledge of boiler systems. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

EPA Certification preferred State of Maine Oil/Gas License is a plus Must have valid drivers' license and a good driving record Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events Good communicator - works well with different customers and office personnel personality styles
