Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal comfort, safety, and efficiency for our clients. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing components. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct field service visits to client sites for routine maintenance or emergency repairs of HVAC/R equipment. Perform appliance repair tasks related to heating and cooling systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits and perform mechanical repairs effectively. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and parts used. Assist with property maintenance tasks including equipment replacement, welding repairs, and system upgrades as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician in construction or property maintenance environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and boiler operation. Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is advantageous. Experience with appliance repair, field service operations, and general equipment repair. Knowledge of welding techniques and boiler systems; mechanical experience is highly valued. Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
