Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional climate control solutions across various properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable indoor environments while supporting property maintenance operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Install, service, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and ammonia refrigeration work where applicable. Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with property maintenance, ensuring safety standards are met. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service calls while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, appliance repair, and property maintenance. Proven service technician experience specializing in HVAC systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), and boiler operation. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design documents accurately. Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC applications. Experience working with air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and field service operations. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Knowledge of HVAC/R standards, safety protocols, and equipment repair techniques. Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
