Job Description
GRIPS Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing commercial and industrial service team. This is a career opportunity for a technician who takes pride in their work, values professionalism, and wants to be part of a company that supports its team and invests in long-term success. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections Service rooftop units, boilers, chillers, make-up air units, VAV systems, and controls Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Work with building automation and control systems as needed Accurately document service calls, findings, and repairs using service software Communicate clearly with customers regarding system condition and repair options Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle Follow all safety procedures and company standards on every job site Maintain proper tool inventory and care for company-provided equipment Assist in identifying additional repair or upgrade opportunities for customers Participate in ongoing training to improve technical skills and knowledge Represent GRIPS Inc. professionally on every job site What We Expect Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently without constant supervision Professional appearance and respectful customer interaction Pride in workmanship and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and accountable Willingness to learn and grow within the company Qualifications 5+ years HVAC service experience requested EPA Certification (required) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Electrical troubleshooting experience is required What We Offer Top-tier pay based on skill and experience Company service vehicle Paid training and continued education Health benefits Paid time off and holidays Supportive work environment where technicians are respected Opportunity for long-term career growth
