JOB SUMMARY

: The HVAC Service Technician/Installer is responsible for residential and commercial installations, as well as maintenance and diagnostic repair work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: PM, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems Install furnace and air conditioning systems Maintain truck and inventory Fabricate and install sheet metal duct work Possess attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right the first time Perform other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

: Support and exhibit behavior consistent with the Service Philosophy of Matheny Heating & Cooling. Act with diplomacy as a representative of Matheny Heating & Cooling. Perform other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: Valid St. Louis City/County HVAC technician license Minimum of three (3) years' experience Ability to lift to 50 pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized Must have a neat appearance Friendly, personable, and responds to customer concerns Valid social security card, driver's license and a clean driving record Must agree to a background and drug check

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

: Maintain truck and keep inventory well stocked Maintain other equipment and tools and ensure proper working order of company property Fabricate and install sheet metal duct work
