As a Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation - including hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success. •Ammonia Refrigeration Experience Required•Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation. Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems , upholding strict safety and compliance standards. Adhere to the design specifications of the refrigeration systems through periodic testing and inspections. Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems. Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership. Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications 3+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia) Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred. Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus. Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills. Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments ( -20°F to 100°F ).
