HVAC Residential Selling Technician

Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heat pumps, furnaces and mini splits, to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment using schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical manuals. Engage with customers confidently to explain system solutions, benefits, and maintenance plans, fostering trust and encouraging sales. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues or mechanical failures accurately. Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and schematics documentation for each job performed. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes while demonstrating professionalism in every customer interaction. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems or appliance repair as needed to support overall home comfort solutions. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans effectively. Familiarity with field service procedures including equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical components, and system diagnostics. Ability to operate diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and perform braze repairs confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
