What We Will Teach You Residential Manual J calculations HVAC sizing concepts Building science basics Calculation software Plan and document review Quality-control standards Contractor communication Local permit and documentation requirements You do not need to know everything on day one. You do need to be coachable, consistent, and willing to apply feedback. What Success Looks Like During your first year, you will learn to: Complete accurate load calculations Manage multiple jobs and deadlines Catch missing or questionable information Communicate confidently with contractors Produce work with limited corrections Become a trusted technical resource for our team Build skills that can lead to future opportunities in HVAC design, energy consulting, quality assurance, operations, or leadership Why This Role The skilled trades need people who can combine technical thinking, strong communication, and reliable execution. This role gives you the chance to enter the HVAC industry, receive hands-on training, and build a career in a growing technical field. You will be part of a team that helps contractors move projects forward, complete accurate work, and serve homeowners better. Compensation The salary range is $70,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience, technical knowledge, learning ability, and the amount of training required.
