Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and effective solutions. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC units. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning systems, boilers, and refrigeration units. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality. Perform necessary repairs including welding and building components as needed. Provide field service support to clients, ensuring timely response to service requests. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in appliance repair or service technician capacities. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Ability to build, weld, and refrigerate components as required for repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
