In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation projects. Your leadership will ensure exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive technical excellence while fostering a collaborative team environment dedicated to delivering top-tier HVAC solutions. Duties Manage daily operations of the HVAC service team, including scheduling, dispatching technicians, and overseeing project timelines. Supervise HVAC system repairs, installations, and maintenance across residential properties. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards by enforcing strict safety protocols. Review schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to guide troubleshooting and system upgrades. Coordinate with clients to assess their needs, provide expert recommendations on HVAC system upgrades or repairs, and deliver outstanding customer service. Maintain detailed records of service activities, equipment repairs, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation. Requirements Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a strong background in HVAC service technician roles. Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems—including refrigeration, boilers, air conditioning units—and mechanical systems repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, building automation systems (BAS), and plumbing layouts. Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical diagnostics skills for complex system troubleshooting. Familiarity with electrical systems including electrical diagnostics for HVAC/R applications; experience with electrical systems is essential. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications such as ammonia refrigeration or boiler licenses are a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid van driver's license for transportation between job sites; experience driving service vehicles preferred. Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
