  • Full-time We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead HVAC Technician to lead one of our field operations team.
This hands-on role is responsible for installing new HVAC systems, diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and has 100% command of retrofits. You will be responsible for the installation of new units, repairing pre-existing units, and troubleshooting all types of HVAC-related issues. For new installs/replacements, you will have a small team to assist you. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with strong leadership abilities who can guide and develop a team while ensuring top-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee a team of HVAC technicians and helpers during job assignments. Install, diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial). Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity. Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with code and manufacturer specifications. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and properly stocked. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical certification or degree preferred 4+ years of HVAC experience, including installation, diagnostics, and maintenance 1+ years of team leadership or crew supervisory experience Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic techniques. Can solve and resolve any HVAC issue. EPA 608 Certification required; NATE certification a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments (attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, etc.).
