Job Description
HVAC Service & Installation Manager Lead the Team. Raise the Standard. Build Something Great. Are you an experienced HVAC professional who has mastered the trade and is ready to take the next step? We're looking for an HVAC Service & Installation Manager ( light commercial and residential) who knows what great HVAC work looks like and has the leadership skills to build a high-performing team around that standard. This role is for someone who has spent years in the field, understands the challenges technicians face every day, and wants the opportunity to influence operations, mentor a team, and help a growing company deliver exceptional service to every customer. You won't be sitting behind a desk disconnected from the work—you'll be the person technicians trust, installers respect, and customers benefit from. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support HVAC service technicians and installation teams. Manage daily field operations, scheduling, and workflow. Ensure service calls and installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians in the field. Perform quality control inspections and ensure installations meet expectations. Review jobs for accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Help develop training programs to improve technician skills and performance. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing top HVAC talent. Coordinate with office staff, customers, and field teams to keep projects moving smoothly. Identify opportunities to improve processes, profitability, and customer experience. The Professional We're Looking For You are: An experienced HVAC technician, installer, or field supervisor ready to lead. Someone who understands both service and installation operations. A natural coach who enjoys helping others improve. Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities. A strong communicator who can work with technicians, homeowners, and leadership. Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and doing things the right way. Qualifications 7+ years of residential HVAC experience preferred. Proven experience leading or mentoring HVAC technicians. Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, diagnostics, installation, and customer expectations. Experience with heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, duct systems, and indoor air quality products. Ability to read HVAC designs, equipment specifications, and job scopes.
