Job Title:
Technician 2 Job Description We are seeking a skilled Technician 2 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs with a focus on returning equipment to service efficiently and safely. This role involves working on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively. Return equipment to service to minimize downtime. Conduct repairs on refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers. Work with dehumidification equipment, generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring. Understand and repair diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors. Read and interpret electric schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams. Engage in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for Pump & Power equipment. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment. Basic understanding of refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers. Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, and shoring. Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with changing out starters, radiators, and checking in pumps (SMURF). Why Work Here? Work Environment This position requires working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment. Once the contract is up, services will be conducted using a company vehicle. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wake Forest, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
