Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable GM technician to maintain and repair customer's vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with different automotive systems, diagnostics, and repairs. You will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicles are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues related to the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems in accordance with the dealership's and factory standards Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and suggest repairs Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors. Maintain an organized and neat shop area Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols Collaborate directly with service advisors and parts department to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery
Qualifications:
Positive can-do attitude At least 3 years GM dealership experience ideally Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented Ability to work independently or as part of a team ASE Certification (preferred, but not required) Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation Professional appearance and work ethic Drug test and background check required Bob King Buick/GMC is an equal-opportunity employer.
