Commercial & Residential Service Technician Odyssey Mechanical is looking for detail-oriented Service Technicians to join our family of professionals dedicated to providing exemplary customer service to the Wilmington community and surrounding areas. HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Maintaining, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting system failures on heating and cooling equipment and making repairs accordingly.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heat pump systems, gas furnaces and mini split systems and ensure that they are operating at peak performance.
- Capability of selling products in the field to customers
- Improving air quality by offering indoor air quality products that address the customer's needs.
- Fixing, replacing and adjusting zone systems to include bypass operations and air flow balancing.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers in clear and easy to understand terms.
- Maintaining service truck/van inventory and keeping truck/van organized and clean.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Health and Safety Act.
- Ability to work with Service Titan software is a plus.
- Ability to maintain, service and repair boilers, chillers, ERV's, HRV's, DOAS, VRF's and HVAC systems in light and heavy commercial applications.
HVAC Service Technician Requirements :
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Clean background check.
- Ability to work after hours on a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and navigate crawl spaces. We offer our full-time employees the following benefits:
