Position Summary:

To provide equipment and accessory installation and remodel on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Assist with training other Install Technicians.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid and insurable driver's license.
• Demonstrate a willingness to invest time in installation training seminars and classes.
• Work from 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder.
• Including ability to demonstrate working knowledge of daily, weekly, monthly skills noted below.
• Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers.
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
• Experience in training and mentoring installers.
• Operate scissors and genie lifts in a safe manner.
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, installation of all residential and light commercial systems
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
• Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for the customer as well as the company
• Ability to test and balance systems
• Understand and apply all codes for residential and light commercial

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicle daily
• Follow instructions from supervisor and carry out in timely manner.
• Supervise and be responsible for other installers and multiple crews
• Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly.
• Work well with customers, co-workers and subcontractors
• Work staggered schedule if required.
• Run and work a job from start to finish
• Maintain professional relationship with builders
• Always maintain professional appearance and attitude .
• Run a job without supervision
• Complete jobs within the labor budget
• Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, timecards
• Answer questions and train all installation
• Attend company hosted continued education courses

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to walk, stoop, balance on feet, talk, hear, squat, climb, reach above their head and drive a company vehicle.
• They will use their hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Employee must regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 50-100lbs.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to weather conditions at that time.
• They may be required to be in confined spaces for short periods of time.
