Job Description

About the Role As a Commercial HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a primary technical expert for complex climate control and refrigeration systems. You will drive operational efficiency for our clients by performing high-level diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and critical repairs on industrial-grade equipment. Responsibilities Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on large-tonnage chillers, boilers, and commercial rooftop units to minimize facility downtime. Provide expert maintenance for commercial refrigeration systems, including ice machines and reach-in cooling units. Analyze electrical and mechanical failures to identify root causes, ensuring long-term system reliability. Consult with facility managers to explain technical findings and propose value-added service solutions. Manage service documentation and inventory usage to ensure accurate billing and project tracking. Uphold high standards of professionalism and safety while operating company-provided service vehicles. Required Skills Minimum 2+ years of dedicated commercial or industrial HVAC service experience. Proficiency in complex electrical troubleshooting and building control systems. Proven ability to manage service calls independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. EPA 608 Universal Certification. Availability for an on-call rotation to support emergency client needs. Preferred Skills Extensive background in refrigeration, including walk-in coolers and cold storage. Direct experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or industrial automation. Prior work in heavy industrial environments such as manufacturing or food processing plants. Technical expertise in high-capacity cooling systems exceeding 20 tons.
