Job Description
The Role We're hiring an experienced Service Technician to handle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across residential and light commercial systems, Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, and traditional split systems. This is a service-and-repair role (not primarily installation), so you'll be the person customers count on when something isn't working right. Because we do both heating and cooling, this is year-round, full-time work - no seasonal layoffs. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair heating and cooling equipment, with a focus on Mitsubishi ductless systems Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups (spring cooling prep, fall heating prep) Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and airflow issues efficiently and accurately Run service calls independently, manage your route, parts, and customer communication Participate in a rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule Represent the company professionally through clean workmanship, clear communication, and respect for customers' homes What We're Looking For 2+ years of HVAC service and repair experience EPA 608 Certification (required) Strong diagnostic skills with heat pumps, mini-splits, and conventional HVAC systems Valid New Hampshire driver's license with a clean driving record New Hampshire Gas Fitter's License (required) Comfortable using service software and digital documentation tools Mitsubishi Diamond training is a plus; certification assistance available Compensation Salary or hourly base pay plus performance-based incentives Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Plan Competitive Compensation Performance Bonuses and Earning Incentives Ongoing Training and Development Programs Company Vehicle Company Cell Phone (if desired) Company iPad for work-related activities Fuel expenses covered by the company Position Requirements HVAC experience Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to use an iPad and smartphone effectively Valid driver's license Must be insurable under the company's insurance policy
