HVAC-R Service Technician Our Manchester, NH client needs an experienced HVAC-R Service Technician! This direct-hire role will install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment at both commercial and residential customer locations. Responsibilities of the HVAC-R Service Technician Travel to homes and businesses throughout the day Communicate with customers to determine their concerns Inspect current HVAC-R systems, conduct performance tests and adjust settings, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and perform necessary cleaning, repairs, and routine maintenance Discuss options for heating and cooling systems that meet customer needs, and create quotes Keep maintenance records Maintain inventory of equipment and HVAC-R resources Keep proper stock of equipment for calls in vehicle, and follow vehicle maintenance schedule Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the HVAC-R Service Technician Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience Proven work experience as an HVAC-R Technician or similar role Current NH Gas License EPA Certification to handle refrigerants Proficient with manual and power tools Valid driver's license, ability to drive a company vehicle, and insurable by company's commercial insurance company Reliable and self-motivated Schedule flexibility and ability to manage calls independently in an on-call situation Physically agile, dexterous, able to work in confined spaces, and able to lift and transfer 50-75 lbs. safely The HVAC-R Service Technician works full-time, first-shift hours.
