This energetic position offers the opportunity to develop technical skills while working alongside experienced HVAC technicians. Your hands-on contributions will help ensure our clients enjoy optimal comfort and indoor air quality. Duties Assist HVAC technicians with installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to support system assembly and troubleshooting. Read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to aid in system installation and diagnostics. Support electrical diagnostics and system repairs by helping identify issues with electrical components and wiring. Aid in equipment troubleshooting, refrigeration repairs, and mechanical systems repair to ensure optimal operation. Help with building automation systems (BAS) setup and maintenance to optimize climate control systems. Maintain a clean work environment, ensure safety protocols are followed, and assist with equipment inventory management. Experience Construction experience or prior work supporting HVAC or mechanical systems is highly preferred. Service technician experience or familiarity with HVAC system repair enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration is a strong asset. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems is desirable. Ability to operate hand tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge related to boiler operation, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems repair is beneficial. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities; familiarity with building automation systems is a plus.
