About the Role As a Field HVAC Technician, you will serve as a primary technical expert, diagnosing complex climate control issues and delivering high-quality repair solutions to ensure home comfort. You will play a vital role in elevating customer satisfaction by providing expert guidance on system performance and efficiency upgrades. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on heating and cooling systems to identify mechanical or electrical failures. Recommend and execute repairs or full system replacements for furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and air handlers to restore optimal performance. Facilitate the installation process for equipment upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and system reliability. Maintain clear, professional communication with clients to explain technical findings and provide transparent service options. Manage your assigned service vehicle inventory to ensure all necessary tools and parts are available for efficient, first-visit resolutions. Document service activities accurately to maintain high standards of quality and service history tracking. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the HVAC trade. Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques. Proven ability to work in diverse environments, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring climbing, kneeling, or crawling. Preferred Skills Strong consultative sales approach with a focus on educating customers on IAQ and system efficiency. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to maintaining a professional, guest-like demeanor in client homes. Demonstrated enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development within the HVAC industry.
