This role is vital in overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair operations, ensuring safety standards are met while maintaining high-quality workmanship. As a Foreman, you will coordinate field activities, manage resources, and mentor team members to achieve project goals efficiently. Your mechanical expertise and leadership will drive success in complex HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and property maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Lead and supervise HVAC installation, service, and repair projects on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Coordinate daily field operations, assign tasks to technicians, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts Conduct equipment inspections, diagnose issues using tools like ohmmeters, and oversee repairs for HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and appliances Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for field service activities while maintaining accurate documentation Provide mentorship and training to technicians on new techniques, safety procedures, and technical updates Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in construction-related HVAC projects with a strong background as a service technician or mechanic Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and boiler operations Skilled in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical diagrams; familiar with electrical components and wiring Mechanical knowledge of equipment repair involving welding, appliance repair, and property maintenance tasks Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with field service procedures is essential Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler maintenance Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Foreman where your expertise will shape the comfort solutions that keep buildings running smoothly.
