Job Description

Brown's Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has been a trusted name in the Red Bank community since 1977. For nearly 50 years, we've built our reputation on quality workmanship, dependable service, and taking care of both our customers and our team. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer who takes pride in their craft and is ready to lead from the front. If you're a skilled residential HVAC installer who enjoys leading a team, mentoring others, and getting the job done right the first time—we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Lead residential HVAC installation projects, including: Air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and IAQ products Supervise, mentor, and train installation helpers on best practices and safety Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the install process Ensure all work meets local codes, manufacturer specs, and company standards Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and service teams to keep projects on track What You Bring 3-5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior installers EPA Certification (required) Strong knowledge of installation best practices and system diagnostics Ability to read and interpret installation manuals and schematics Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in quality workmanship Why Join Brown's?
