Join a reputable team as an HVAC Technician supporting commercial properties in Woodbridge, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance for HVAC systems. You will utilize multiple trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to ensure optimal system performance. Travel to customer sites with provided tools and company vehicle, maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members. The role includes an on-call rotation to support 24/7 service needs.Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough preventative maintenance on standard commercial HVAC systems, including inspection, cleaning, and minor repairs. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC equipment. Conduct repairs on steam/hot water boilers and airflow/ducting systems. Safely handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards. Complete service and asset inspections; document work via digital tools. Assist with minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical tasks as needed. Provide accurate estimates for additional projects; communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Maintain safety regulations and complete required training and safety meetings.Top Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent; technical certifications/training in HVAC or related trades preferred. At least 5 years of HVAC and general maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Valid driver's license. EPA Universal Refrigeration License. Proven experience with commercial HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Strong communication and customer service skills.
