HVAC Field Service Technician (Commercial HVAC) Remote | Supporting Dallas, TX & Surrounding Areas Travel Required (Up to 80%)
Pay:
$32-$36/hour + Overtime + Full Benefits Join a growing leader in the modular building industry as an HVAC Field Service Technician . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial HVAC professional who enjoys traveling, solving complex mechanical issues, and working independently while supporting customers throughout Texas and southeastern New Mexico. This position primarily supports projects throughout: Dallas, TX Midland/Odessa, TX Hobbs, NM Jal, NM Carlsbad, NM El Paso, TX What You'll Do As an HVAC Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems used in modular buildings and jobsite facilities.
Responsibilities include:
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service on commercial HVAC equipment Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems Service heat pumps, compressors, economizers, exhaust fans, unit heaters, and related equipment Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues Complete service calls and repairs safely and efficiently Maintain accurate service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation Order parts and recommend equipment replacements when necessary Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams Assist with general maintenance repairs as needed, including doors, plumbing, roofing, flooring, and other building systems Travel throughout the assigned territory supporting customer locations Qualifications EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (Required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC experience HVAC technical school certification or equivalent training Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience reading technical manuals and equipment documentation Basic computer skills for work orders and reporting Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently in the field Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds Operate hand and power tools safely Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Climb, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods Work safely around heavy equipment and machinery

$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
