Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation equipment. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment and mechanical components. Perform equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to restore functionality efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data. Operate a vehicle safely for transportation to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments or service technician roles. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding HVAC design principles for accurate troubleshooting and installation. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems— HVAC/R systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting. Skilled in welding and equipment repair techniques necessary for complex mechanical fixes. Familiarity with field service operations, including customer interaction and on-site problem resolution. Mechanical experience with ventilation systems, air conditioning units, and other HVAC components.
